- What separates Turn Into Art from every other "turn photo into art" website?

We enable artists, not "corporate." Our artists receive ninety-two percent of each commission, not $9.00 an hour. Our artists only make an offer to clients that fit their portfolio of work--which is why our artists and clients are so very happy!
- Does TurnIntoArt.com charge me anything?

No. TurnIntoArt is free for the customer to upload a picture, to view the artists' offer, and to accept offer(s) from artist(s).
- Do you charge the artist a start-up fee?

No. Artists may sign-up and create a profile for free. We do require a credit card number, in order to administer a small fee after the customer has paid the artist.
- How does TurnIntoArt pay for the website, staff, and advertising?

Once you hire an artist to turn your picture into art, then we will bill the artist eight percent of the order.
- What information should I expect from the artist after uploading my picture?

Artists should tell you: 1. Total cost (includes shipping fee, possible taxes, supplies, etc.) 2. When you will receive your art via first class mail 3. A link to the artist's profile page so you can get to know them.
- Why can't I edit the description of my post? I made a mistake...

You cannot change your post so that offers by artists are guaranteed. There should be no misunderstanding about what you (the customer) requested and what the artist offered. If you made a mistake, then you should post again and delete the old post with mistakes.
- Is my credit card secure?

Yes. We use industry standard SSL encryption for all transactions.
- Does the artist send me an email of a picture or a scan of my art for approval before mailing it?

Yes, at your request on the New Listing page.
- Do I own the art once I receive it?

Yes. You will receive a "Certificate of Ownership" from the artist with your work of art.
- I'm an artist and I bid on art. What happens when the customer accepts my offer?

After the customer accepts your offer, they will pay you via PayPal, Google Checkout or send you a check in the mail. Their listing will automatically delete from the listings page.
- What happens if I don't like my artwork? Can I return it?

No. All sales are final, unless the artist agrees. This website will show customer feedback, which cannot be altered by the artist. TurnIntoArt staff constantly reviews the integrity of the artists. We take grievances from customers very seriously.
- What would you tell a first-time customer like me?

Upload your picture and give artists a day to make their offer. Research the artists' profile! Get to know your artist(s) before making a decision!
- How do I know the artist is as good as they say they are?

Their transcripts / art education should be posted on their profile page (which you can see once you click their art name in your bid). The artist should also have uploaded some of their art! They possibly have a webpage link too!
- How can I help artists?
